Commissioning A Work: If you would like to commission a work with me please contact me with details of what kind of a work(s) you are looking for. I will discuss the various possibilities and work closely with you to achieve your vision. During initial discussions about the project I will provide a quote for my fee subject to any research into materials or processes involved. Once agreed and prior to beginning any preliminary work such as drawings, sketches, photographs, or the actual piece, I would require a non-refundable 'retainer' or deposit of 50% of the total amount. The balance is payable upon completion of the work but prior to delivery. This is a general guide for relatively straightforward projects such as a commissioned painting. The fee structure may be subject to change depending on the complexity of the project and the materials involved. At all times during the commission clients may request images or site visits to see the progress of a work - also allowing the client the opportunity to suggest alterations or adjustments to the work as naturally can happen during such a process.
Payment: I accept cash, cheque, bank transfers or payment through PayPal for purchases. If paying via PayPal a revised quotation may be required to include handling fees. In all cases purchase orders will only be initiated upon payment for full order amount.
Delivery: Of artwork will be made in person and installation (contact me for a quote for installations) is available if within, or close to, Orange, California.
Postage & Packing: For private sales P&P costs additional. Postage guaranteed and insured.
Note: The price of works of art by established artists tends to appreciate over time for various reasons such as popularity, scarcity and marketplace value. For this reason it is a good idea to buy while you have the opportunity as the next time the piece in question or a similar work becomes available it may have acquired considerable value. Artists work constantly to promote their work in the most suitable arenas and often prices are agreed based on various factors including material and labour costs, current sales taxation and commission rates, and sales within galleries.
